Patrick Mahomes is still recovering from a torn ACL, but by the looks of his golf swing, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback could be ready for Week 1.<\/p>

Mahomes posted a video of him hitting driver off the tee and fans, and former athletes, pointed out the fact that the quarterback appears to have a good range of motion in his injured leg.<\/p>

“The internal rotation on his left knee looks pretty [expletive] good to me. If he\u2019s golfing, he\u2019s playing Week 1,” said former NFL quarterback and current analyst Chase Daniel.<\/p>

NFL analyst Brett Kollmann added, “I would like to commission a study on how Patrick Mahomes heals from stuff because he is definitely not normal.”<\/p>

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid recently responded to the speculation that Mahomes is “ahead of schedule” in his recovery, but wanted to make it clear the star quarterback will return when fully healthy.<\/p>

\u201cHe\u2019s\u00a0doing great right now\u00a0and that\u2019s kinda how you gotta go about this,\u201d Reid said. \u201cPeople go \u2018well, he\u2019s ahead of schedule.\u2019 Who made the schedule? Everybody\u2019s different, right? And so, let\u2019s just take it day by day. Nobody is spending more time than he is rehabbing, he spends seven hours here going through it.<\/p>

“He hasn\u2019t missed a day and he wants more, all the things that are Patrick Mahomes. Let\u2019s see where we are at as we go forward as we get a little bit closer to the game.” Reid continued. “He\u2019s making progress, and I’ve said that all along, but you don\u2019t know. That\u2019s the reality of it. You\u2019re not going to put the player in a position where he can\u2019t tend to himself out on the football field.\u201d<\/p>
